2001 Mazda 323 LOCKING DOORS STOPS ENGINE

Electrical problem
2001 Mazda 323 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 88000 miles

I have a 2001 Mazda 323F LXI 1998CC diesel hatchback. When I lock the doors (has central locking) the engine stops running and when the doors are locked the engine cant start. What could be the cause.
The other problem is that the sign that indictes the glow plags are hot enough to start the engine keeps on flashing. It stops when the engine is hot enough and restarted. What could be the cause?

I will be glad if you could assist.

Hi Charles,

You need to get a scan done to retrieve for trouble codes and proceed with diagnostics and rectification.

The glow plug blinking indicates troubnle codes have been detected and stored in the engine computer.
