Hi,

Good day, Very happy to have a site like yours, I recently had my transmission and engine oil replaced and my concern is that sometimes when im running at 90km/hr my engine shift to low gear and suddenly return to high speed and vise versa instead on maintaining to high gear. What would be the probable cause at what things should I do to correct this.

Thanks a lot,

Albert

Have you checked the transmission level? Low fulid level will cause shifting problems. Even through you had the tranmission fulid changed, they may not have refilled it to the correct level. It will cause shifting problems.

Hi,

Good day, I believe the transmission oil level is within the right quantity. With this, is there something that I should replace in the transmission like clutch plates perhaps?

Thanks a lot,

Albert

Unless you have had a lot of experience with rebuilding transmissions, I would take it to a transmission shop, for a rebuilt. Or you can replace the transmission. With the miles you have on the car, I would replace the transmission.
