Hi,

This vehicle is my 95 yr. Old father-in-law that is being donated to the American Cancer Society. He lost the keys and I need to move it out of the garage for pickup. The car has not been driven for 7 years. Battery drained. I cannot find info on what to do.

Can I ask if the front wheels are straight? If so, you can use a floor jack and raise the rear of the car and roll it backwards out of the garage. please check out this video to help show you how:

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

Yes, tires are straight. I need to get it in neutral. I can chock the wheels and have someone inside with a foot on the brake and the parking brake engaged. I need to find the gear linkage to disconnect so I can move it out of park. It's so old. I have no idea whether I have to jack it up or go under the hood. Any info would be appreciated!
