Hi there, I just bought a 1989 Lincoln Town Car when I am sitting at a light it seems to idle rough and then when I hit the gas it hesitates a bit. I was thinking it could be a bad spark plug but I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated

When the last time you had it tune-up? Check the idle speed control motor/valve and throttle position and manifold absolute pressure sensors

I have not had it a tune up yet. I just bought the car 2 days ago. I was hoping that was all it needed (fingers crossed). Thank you so much I really appreciate your response
