1986 Lincoln Town Car car battery switch

I have a 1986 lincoln towncar and my girl has a 2001 ford taurus. Her battery jus went dead and I jus bought a brand new battery for my lincoln but now the fuel pump is cracked. Is it possible that I can switch the lincoln battery over to the taurus?

The '86 Lincoln takes a larger battery than the Taurus. It is possible to switch them out but I do not recommend keeping them this way permanently.

Check the ford tauras amps if it maches your find as long as it a 12v
