1993 Lexus LS 400 Fuel Filter

My son ran our ls400 out of gas 2x in the last 2 wks. Now the car is bucking & sputtering. I have added some fuel injector cleaner but still having problems. My local auto store suggested a new fuel filter. But I have no idea where it is on the engine and could not see it from a visual inspection.

Your vehicle's fuel filter is located under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, front of rear wheelwell, mounted on chassis in fuel line.
