Neutral light turned on while driving?

So, I have the car listed above Cedia with a brand-new transmission and engine is inside All of a sudden, the neutrals light came on when it’s driving it reverse good when I rev the car it goes up to 3 then drop back and also the car cut off if you stop it in traffic.

Is the transmission new? As far as the issue, this sounds like a few different things could be happening. First, if while driving the gear indicator goes to neutral by itself, that would likely be related to the transmission range sensor or a shift linkage adjustment issue. However, that doesn't explain the stalling at a stop.

When you come to a stop, does the engine feel loaded like a vehicle with a manual transmission would feel if the clutch wasn't depressed when stopping? If that is happening, it is likely related to the torque converter. Keep in mind, these are theories based on what you experienced and described. Please clarify the symptoms.

What I would suggest is to have the can-bus scanned to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes related to the issues. CAN stands for controller area network.

Basically, the different modules in the vehicle are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

I'm recommending this scan because otherwise, it becomes a guessing game based on theories. That can get expensive.

Also, if the transmission and engine are new, is there a warranty? Is the Cedia the same vehicle as the Lancer?

It’s the Lancer Cedia 2003 4g15 GDI engine and transmission yes. It’s a foreign use engine and transmission inside brand new the car worked good for a while then it has the problem it happens before I change transmission it fixed and still happens after a while. The car has a neutral light while driving also it worked normally when I switch the car off and put it on it worked for a while once and then it start putting back the neutral light however it’s up to third gear it’s go 40 RPMs if I press the accelerate harder it will stop the speed and cut it out also if I stop it cuts off not all the time when it revs down and it cuts off sometimes not all the time... Then it misses while driving but if it’s start it doesn’t miss while it’s in park and you rev it still goes to 3rpm you have to mash the pedal a little for it to work. It’s a new ECU also inside.

Is this a diesel model? If so, I don't have anything on that setup. However, what I suggest is to have the can-bus scanned as aforementioned. Hopefully, that will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them. Also, based on your description, there has to be codes stored.

Hey, I scanned the car however it said the fuel pressure sensor has failed. I don’t know where is my fuel pressure sensor and why would my neutral light blinks when I’m in drive gear can a fuel pressure sensor makes the neutral light blinks in drive gear. How do I go about fixing this I replaced my gdi pump already new head and block new transmission.

So, the codes that came in the scanner are.
Po110 intake air temperature sensor
Po105 baro/map sensor
Po110 fuel pressure sensor 1
What can I do to fix this also can this make my car in limp mode? And neutral light while in drive gear.

No this is a type of the Lancer it’s called Lancer Cedia it’s gasoline type of vehicle it’s almost like the lancer but advance like an upgrade... Same type of engine and transmission 4g15 but the Cedia has the 4-coil pact and gdi. So, can you help me? I have the neutral light while in the drive gear alone. I don’t pass 2,000 RPMs and my speed doesn’t pass 30 also my car cuts off by itself when driving or reversing if I press deep on the accelerate it cuts off. However, based on theories they said it’s a transmission problem, but I have a doing use transmission lately install. However, that’s the code that showed on the scanner.
