How do I change the right motor mount? Do I need to jack the engine up? If so, what all do I loosen to do so? Need proceedures, can't find anything in manual.

Wondered if you've got any ideas? I have the old motor mount out but it's too small a space to fit the new one in. I'm guessing I need to raise the motor. I don't want to unbolt anything that I don't need to. Not sure how to raise up the motor without damaging anything. Just need some tips on this. Sent $5 Duane Fulton

Hi Duane Fulton,

Thank you for the donation and sorry for the delay in replying.

Such repair job procedures are never found in repair manuals and you have to perform the job as is. Look out for items that may be stretched beyond their flexibility such as coolant hoses and wire harnesses.
The other item to note would be the cooling fan blades.

You would have to raise the motor either by using an engine hoist or a jack and try to tilt it towards the left since you are replacing the right one. Loosening the left engine mount would avoid breaking it and allowing easier lifting of the engine.
