I have a 2005 Kia Amanti. I have read on edmonds that a weak battery can cause the airbag light to come on. Is that correct, can anyone verify this for me?

A weak battery can cause many electrical issues. What I recommend doing is simply having the battery load tested. Most parts stores will do it for free. That way you will know if the battery can maintain a good charge or if it is weak.
