Key fob week signal?

I have to be less than 5 feet away from the car for the key fob to work. All the buttons work okay, and it has a new battery in it too. I have owned this car for 3 years; it has always been this way.

So, what happens is the door lock remote control receives gets weak and needs to be replaced. Here is the location and how to replace it in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

It’s not only the door lock, it is also a problem with remote start. I have to be within 5 feet to remote start the vehicle too.

And I thank you for helping me with this... This problem must not occur often because I can’t find any parts house that has a door lock receiver for sale.
