1999 Jeep Wrangler Four Wheel Drive Manual 36000 miles

sometimes when I hit a bump check engine and air bag lights come on. All gauges drop fuel, speedometer, oil, rpm's but engine is unaffected keeps running. Instead of mileage I get code nobus5.

Caused by the pins in the main wiring harness connector on the back of the dash. A new plug runs about $10 dollars but you have to be able to solder all the wires which is not an easy task.
