When I attempt to start the vehicle all I get is a "Click". The battery tested out good. Is this most likely a selonoid problem? Is there a second firewall mounted selonoid other than the one mounted on the starter? If not can the selonoid only be replaced or do I have to replace the starter?

**2/07/09 It was the starter. I had the starter rebuilt, Half the price of a cheap rebuilt one from Advance and its the original starter. Plus the guys that did the work have been in business 36years (The Generator Shop, Gastonia, NC) I would recommend them to anyone!

I would agree that it is probably a selenoid problem. There is only one and it is on the starter. You can take the starter off and use a battery charger to test it and make sure it engages. Also I would get a starter from autozone with a lifetime warranty. They are not that high and you will only have to pay for one in case it goes out in the future. Curt
