I bought a 1994 wrangler. The steering feels loose. Is there an easy way to repair?

Sure and we can help you! First lift up the front of the vehicle and use jack stands to secure it. Get under the front end and have a friend move the wheel back and forth or just kinda shake it back and forth. If there are worn parts you will see movement in any that need replaced. You want to check all the tie rod ends and also where the link connects to the Pittman arm. You can search the net for a diagram of the front end if you need to or buy a manual. Also with the fornt wheels up off the ground just a few inches put a bar under the tire from the outside in and lift up. Watch the ball joints and if there is any play there they need replaced. While under the front end it would be a good time to check the u joints in the front axle also. LEt me know if this helps. And if you need more help. Than ks Curt
