Jeep idles fine and drives fine on flat surfasces. On inclines, it stalls and I have to continually ride the clutch to advance or it stalls out completely and I flood the engine.

See my profile, I do not know your rig well. Imma CJ Guy.I answer alot of the CJ5s and CJ7s. Saw you had been waiting, so I figured I could "TRY" to help you.

I have many CJ Manuals. Several include Wrangler, so I do have a reference to yours. Do you?

What Have you done thus far?

Do you/ if you have a fuel filter, have you changed it on schedule, according to Scheduled Maintenance outlined in a Repair Manual?

I will try to help. As long as it takes, but I will always tell you when I'm getting outside of my Mechanical territory. And whether its "My Hypothisis" or "Fact"

I need to know if you are Tool Able, Voltmeter qualified (competent), and know your way around your engine. So I can maybe proceed, without talking "Down to you"!
