I have a RHD Export 1997 Jeep Wrangler sport. I had to replace my water pump and forgot to note the routing of the serpentine belt. It is different than the routing for a LHD due to the location of the accesories and the Idler pulley near the alternator. Can you help me find the proper routing?

That diagram will not work with the Export setup. The Idler pulley next to the alternator is closer and the alternator is mounted higher than on a Left Hand Drive TJ. So when it is routed that way, the belt rubs on itself near the idler pulley. I need a specific setup for an exported Right Hand Drive Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997 sport. This is a picture of how I have it routed right now, but I need to make sure it is correct.

If you are able to install the serpentine belt with the correct belt tension, then the routing should be correct.

Serpentine belts are unique in a sense that if the routing is wrong, you would not be able to get the belt tension correct.

From the picture I would say the routing is similar to the Cherokee setup.

Hope this helps.
