Are we talking about won't go in gear from park? If so check the shift interlock control system.

I am talkin about when shifting through all the gears with the shifter (P R N D 1 2) all the car will do is rev the engine like its in neutral... Some people think its the tourqe converter but I would like to think that its just simple wiring hopefully but I have no clue

The best way to find out what's going on with it-have it pressure tested-could very well be the TC as for wiring problem I don't think so. Do you know the condition of this tranny prior to you installing it.

Well yes and know, the fuel pump was junk there for the car would not move but we put our foot on the brake and for the 15 seconds we had the car running we put it in reverse and the car yanked backwards like it wanted to move. This is y im really confused, I dont know what to try next. I was told to try to flush the tranny cooler but I dont know. Also u should know that my last transmission was so bad u could not see the magnent in the pan, it was COVERED in metal
