Hello,
My car was running fine, however today when I turned my car off, during this process I turned it on again. After this my car was dead. I won't even turn on again, not even crank the engine. I checked the Ignition Fuses and nothing seems to be wrong. Could it be the starter solenoid or the starter itself? How hard are these to replace?
Thank you for your help.

See my profile, I do not know your rig

IS YOUR BATTERY CHARGED?

IS YOUR ALTERNATOR CHARGING?

WILL IT JUMP OFF?

Read thru this----Things in it may help you!

PRETTY MUCH its telling you to take apart every connection to the starting system, clean it (wire brush, etc) then put it back together and tighten it well!

You could do the EZer stuff 1st, try to start it up each time, as you progress on thru your system.

I tried to not leave out CONNECTIONS, so that no stone would be left unturned!

I just sorta directed these particular pictures at CJs and Older Fords (rigs I know well). Your system is very similar (just read what the post says to do. Where to find!

It really sounds like you are not getting power from out there, on the Battery connections and related components. If you are charged!

A Repair manual, as I mentioned in my profile might help you Now and Later, Especially if you keep it in your vehicle.

May the FORCE BE WITH YOU!

Thank you. I will let you know if that works. I may just buy a new connections. So you don't think it is the starter or relay?

The only thing you should buy, RIGHT NOW, is a SMALL WIRE BRUSH (a little larger than a toothbrush!)

If your battery connectors are broke or beyond cleaning----or cables frayed up. Buy Them too!

If your starter were badall accessories would still be powered

It could be your SOLENOID aka STARTER RELAY. This is USUALLY the point where your battery connects to EVERYTHING requiring electricity.

In my pics, in the LINK, you can see the Battery cable (1) sandwiched together with (wire 3) and (wire 4).I know yours is a newer version than mine. But with them "SANDWICHED" on that one postThey do not even "RUN THRU" the solenoid. They all connect there, and provide power to everything!

So basically, I am saying this is where they all splice together. The solenoid post is nothing more than a "WIRE NUT" (like on household wiring)

Follow the Positive and Negative battery cables anything they connect to, remove, clean, tighten back well!

Go back and review the LINK. At the end is "FUSABLE LINKS".A manual might show you locations of yours, so you can check them.

Get motivated. Get on it. Give me some good news!
