Someone else removed the fuel pump. I bought a new Bosch as the original was a Bosch. I did not know how to orient the pump to install it. 'Made my best guess, but the gauge doesn't read right now. And, the gasket is leaking some... Wasting fuel. Please tell me how to orient the pump and how far do I have to rotate the pump. Thank you, Roger

Your problem is not the fuel pump it self it is the fuel lever sender housing thier should be a little rubber nub on the botton of the hole assembly. In the tank thier is a spot where it fits in to it is a pain to find once the hole assembly is in the retainer ring is real easy to get on I would also seggest that you replace the retiner o ring (retainer ring holds in fuel pump assembly)
