1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuel pump goes bad

1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles
I have had the fuel pump replaced 2x by a mechanic and it seems it has gone bad again. The fuel guage also quits showing correct fuel level. Is there an electrical problem causing the fuel unit to quit working and/or solution?

Sounds like the ground circuit black wire is open at the fuel pump connector to G200 left side of cowl-let me know
