About a week ago I started having a smell in my vents. Only when the vent is on. It literally smells like driving by a farm that just put all natural fertilizer on the ground. I like fresh air but this is too much.

Any suggestions on how to address this problem. I tried spraying a vinegar spray in the intake vent outside and it did not help. I just called to see if the car has a cabin vent, the Jeep parts department said it did not. Very strange.

Help greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

This may be a case of mold or mildew growing in the A/C and heater ducts, there are special treatments to destroy this odor, but you must also consider that a mouse may have found its way into the system and had expired, this is a very common problem in rural areas.
