1986 Jeep CJ7 V6 Four Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

Jeep has been idle in outside storage for 18 mos. Was working ok prior. Would not start when attempted. Changed oil, plugs, battery, couple of gallons of fresh fuel. Still did not start. Trying to sell. Would sell better if it were running. What would be the problem, and what would it take to fix? Am not knowledgeable in car mechanics at all.

Sounds as though the fuel has turned to "laquer". You may need to completely rebuild the carb and dump the fuel from the tank. Adding Stabil to fuel before the long storage would have prevented this from happening.
