I bought gas the other day and I took off to go some where and my jeep jerked like it was going to quit on me but it didnt. It has done that same thing 1 time since then. Then today I went somewhere I turned it off I was out of it for about 15 minutes I got back in it and I cranked and cranked on it it didnt want to start and then I cranked it again and it did start. People says I got water in my gas because they got gas at the same place and there cars were acting up. Sometimes I can smell gas in my jeep I was wondering if thats what it could be? Because it didnt start doing that untill I bought the gas? And if you think it might be how do I get the water out? Ihave put 2 bottles of gas treatment in my jeep. 1995 jeep cherokee laredo. 62;000 miles v6

The best way to get the water out is drain the tank completly, let it dry out and then refill it with gas.
