I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport 4.0L. The oil psi is good when started but after it warms up it drops very low. I checked the sending unit and that is ok. Is there a way to determine if it is the oil pump or main bearings? Do you have any other thoughts. Thanks Doug

Youll have to take pump out and measure the clearance. If its within specs and the filter clean then chances are the bearings are worn. Could also be a bad sensor causing guage to read lower when warm
