1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 engine went bad. I replaced with 2002 dodge durango 4.7. Changed wiring harness and all sensors to be sure was safe because of computer. Engine acts as if out of time. I have found out that the 2002 Durango carries a different tooth gear on crankshaft for the crank sensor than the 99 Cherokee, but that a 2000 and 2001 grand Cherokee carries same tooth so can I use a 2000-2001 grand Cherokee comp and resolve the problem?
