1998 Jeep Cherokee crank but will not run

Hello, I have a 1998 jeep cherokee with a 4.0L and 6 cylinder in line.A year ago it started to not run when the key was turn on for first time (the engine only cranked), it will run when the key was turn on for the second time, after checking the battery, starter, fuel injection system, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plug, distributor, keys switch, all this parts are good, I was told that the problem was the crankshaft position sensor, I continued to drive the car with the problem for a while until the engine stop while I as driving.(The engine did crank but not run), so replaced the crankshaft sensor and the engine run well now, however most time I still need to turn the key on 2 time for the motor to run.I do noticed that the check gauges light comes on for 2 seconds after the motor runs. Any help please. Thanks
