1997 Jeep Cherokee WON'T START?

I HAVE A 1997 JEEP CHEROKEE V6 WITH 168,000. I WENT TO START IT AFTER IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR 2-3 DAYS AND IT WON"T START. IT WILL TURN OVER BUT IS NOT FIREING AT ALL AND THE WIRE TO THE COIL IS NOT HOT. THE FUEL PUMP DOSE NOT SOUND LIKE IT IS STARTING AND THE FUEL GAGE READ EMPTY.I HAD A 1/2 TANK AND PUT 3 MORE GOLLON IN.I HAVE PUT A NEW CPS ON AND A NEW STATOR SILL NOTHING.I BOUGHT CODE READER IT SHOWED P1600. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Check the ICM or coil and power to the coil-no power to the coil check ignition fuse if it has one or the fuse that powers the ignition.

IT WILL TURN OVER BUT IS NOT FIREING AT ALL AND THE WIRE TO THE COIL IS NOT HOt.

I CHECKED THE IGNITION RUN START FUSE AND IT WAS GOOD.I WAS THINKING THAT THE COMPUTER MAY BE BAD.
