1997 Jeep Cherokee car wont start

Engine problem
1997 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 98000 miles

my car had been dying recently while i drove it would stutter and sometimes shut off but it would turn on again if i waited i few seconds, i figured it would be the ignition coil so i changed it, i changed the wires too, aparently my battery got drained just from changing the ignition coil, i started charging the battery for about 30 mins and the car still wont start! i dont know what to do

First test for spark out of ht ecoil,in ok then check for spark out of the distributor, if ok then it might be fuel. Test fuel pressure with a manual gauge and using a"noid" light test for injector pulse. Most likely cranl angle sensor, replaced a few of them on Jeep's
