1994 Jeep Cherokee bottoming out

My jeep is bottoming out over even the smallest bumps I cant figure it out I dont have a lift or anything but someone told me that it could be my bump stop im not sure what that could be. Also I just changed my shocks so they are new what could it be

Hi there,

You will have to get the spring heights check, you may have a collapsed spring.

If it is the rear that is bottoming out it could easily be the rear springs. Cherokees came from the factory undersprung. Both Cherokees I have owned I have added a leaf to the springs to lift up the saggy rear end. An easy fix and it gets the ride height back to normal and adds extra carrying capacity.
