2003 Jaguar XJ8 motor problems
Computer problem
2003 Jaguar XJ8 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80000 miles
Dear friends
During driving the engine suddenly almost stops.
all lamps on the dash start burning.
the display says:
Park brake fault
DSC not available
After pulling over I take the key out of the ignition, wait for 5 seconds and start again.
The engine runs normal.
After about 15 to 45 minutes it happens again.
After a few time the engine fault lamp burns but engine runs normal until the problem happens again.

There could be numerous reasons for the faults you are experiencing .. I would start by having the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to retrieve any fault codes stored .. and repost with full codes for more information/diagnosis ..
