2004 Jaguar XJ8 My check engine light came on
Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Jaguar XJ8 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 89000 miles
i was trying to find the diagnostic port to get the code. Do u know where that is located? or is there something else i need to do to get the code.

The plug is located by your right knee (LHD US cars) when you're seated in the driver's seat. Easiest way to get the code is to take the car to AutoZone or most other auto parts stores, who will read the codes for you for free. Report back which codes you have, and we can go from there.
