2002 Jaguar X-Type I think its the A/C
Smells problem
2002 Jaguar X-Type 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 71000 miles
My wifes car has developed this terrible smell like somethings rotting in her car it is re-occuring if you air it out then drive it and leaver the windows up its horrible, could it be the A/C system like the dryer is bad or the condensor is full of fungus or something? how can I check?

Hi there,
This may be mold or mildew in the A/C air box, the drain tube my be blocked and not allowing all the water to drain away, check that the drain tube is free and you can get a cleaner to fill the mold as well, see your parts specialist.
