Hi
The check trans warning light comes on and the transmition puts itself into 3rd gear. This can be put right if you switch off the ignition and restart the car.
The gearbox will then run normaly for the next half mile or so until the falt happens again. The local isuzu dealer have pluged in their fault reader and are telling me there are two faults. 1 a falty solinoid/valve inside the gearbox. 2 falty throttle position sensor. My question is can the falty throttle sensor cause the solinoid/valve problem to happen. It seems strange that both falts have shown themselves at the same time and at such a low mileage. Thanks
