I have a 1990 isuzu trooper v-6 with 225,000 miles on it. I have a freeze plug I need to replace. It is behind the oil filter on the driver side. My question is how do I remove the oil filter mount to get to the freeze plug?

thanks!

If it comes off take the filter off, ther will be a bolt in the middle of the circle.

Thanks for the reply. There is no bolt in the middle hole of the oil filter mount, plus the hole is too small for any kind of socket to fit if there were. Any other ideas? Thanks!
