Hello carpros, I have a 1995 isuzu rodeo 4x4 with a 3.2L engine. It has over 194,000 miles on it. Can I replace my engine with a 1996 isuzu rodeo V6 engine? I hear they made them better that year.
Thanks

Ive been researching into the same possibility for my '93 Rodeo. In theory it should just drop right in. However there are 2 million tiny little details that you have to look out for haha even the smallest change can make a big difference it might be something as simple as in 97 they moved the power steering pump.002cm left from where it was in 95 so they could make room for whatever so youd have to do the same to yours. But id say go for it! 97 was the best version of the SOHC by far and it would definately be more fun to drive

personally i'm looking into dropping a Nissan 350Z engine into mine  but thats an entirely different matter altogether haha
