mine did that and had no symptoms and somehow shifter got misalligned with linkage and was not completely in gear.had to push down harder to get into gear.

An error in the transmission control or sensing system has occurred and the transmission control unit is signalling the problem. You need a scan to retrieve the trouble codes to proceed with troubleshooting.
