Hello, I have the vehicle listed above, it has a P0717 engine code indicating input shaft speed sensor issue.

Could you point me to where the input shaft speed sensor is located for this model and how could I access it? Thank you.

Hi,

The code is related to the torque converter turbine speed sensor. I attached the directions below for the removal and replacement.

Keep in mind, there are other possible causes for this code other than the sensor itself. Let me know if the sensor doesn't take care of the issue so we can diagnose other possible causes.

Also, make sure the connector is in good condition and not corroded and the wiring is in good condition.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe

Thank you so much.

I see a few options from rockauto. They seem to fall in two types. See below. Which one is the right replacement for torque converter turbine speed sensor? And do I need to buy the replacement o-ring separately or it comes with the sensor part?

Hi,

Before I guess, could you let me know if this vehicle is AWD or is it RWD? It will likely make a difference. Also, everything in my manual indicates the vehicle has a CVT transmission. Could you confirm that for me?

Sorry for so many questions. Just trying to not make a mistake. LOL

Let me know.

Joe

When I searched, it said that all 2015 CRV are CVT. Is there a place I can find it specifically for my car? Thank you.

Hi,

It is very possible, but the manual provides options. LOL From what you attached; it appears the very first one is the one needed. See pic below

Let me know if this helps. Also, if possible, let me know if this takes care of the issues.

Take care,

Joe
