I have a qx4 w/ a 3.3 liter v6. I just had the timing belt water pump and cam seals replaced at the nissan dealership. About 3 days later the truck died right after filling up with gas. It will not start and acts like its not getting fuel, the starter is cranking. I haven't replaced the fuel filter since I've owned it so I did that and checked fuses and relays. It still won't start. I was thinking it might need a fuel pump but then I read that it could be the fuel pressure regulator. I would like to fix it myself if I can and was going to start with the regulator but I don't know where it is located and if that is my best option.

Lets verify which one is missing do below and comeback and tell me what's missing we start here

Get helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
