1991 Infiniti M30 Transmission kicks out of gear
Transmission problem
1991 Infiniti M30 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 182000 miles
My Infiniti M30 with automatic 3 speed with overdrive
being 4 gear. while driving down the road it kicks down
to 2nd gear. before this happens the speedometer
quits working and the tach goes crazy. while driving
my speedometer starts to drop and then I know
it is going to kick down to second gear.After this happens the speedometer doesnt work at all.
I get no engine errors.

I have little experience with Infinity but if there is something basic that needs maintenance, like battery service or a loose ground or positive terminal, or fluid level and condition, then that would be a good place to start.
