Thermostat replacement

Six cylinder two wheel drive automatic 101,000 miles.

I have just been told I need a thermostat replaced on my car. Is this an easy diy type job?

Even though it says remove all the belts you do not need to do that. The thermostat is not blocked by any of the belts, brackets or anything. It is to prevent you from spilling coolant on the belts. Not a big deal as the coolant burns off fast. Takes less than a half hour.
