Stuck in park no gauges are working?

I have the vehicle listed above and it is stuck in park. No gauges are working (they have light), my climate control isn’t working at all, and i’m getting the “key” light on my dash. I was riding with my positive battery term loose for a couple weeks (silly me) I started losing power; first my cigarette lighter port stopped working, then my horn no longer honked when locking doors etc. One night after getting a new battery and changing positive term (didn’t resolve) I decided to plug my car charger into the backseat port to see if it might work, I plugged it in and the car instantly shut down resulting in those issues. Can someone help this has literally affected my life?

Yep, this happens when the IPDM goes out which is common when electrical surge issues occur. To confirm the issue, we should do a CAN scan which is easy. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon from about $32.00.

To replace the IPDM is easy as well because it-self learns. I have included the location and instructions on how to do the repair in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
