How do you reset the immobilizer? Cranks but won’t start, flashing key indicator on all keys/fibs, good fuses and battery and starter!

Resetting the immobilizer system in a 2006 Acura MDX requires a specific procedure. Please follow the steps below:

Ensure that all the doors, hood, and tailgate are closed.

Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position (do not start the engine).

Locate the valet switch, which is a small black button usually located under the driver's side of the dashboard.

Press and hold the valet switch for approximately 10 seconds until you hear a confirmation beep.

Release the valet switch.

Turn the ignition key to the "Lock" position and remove it from the ignition.

Wait for about 10 seconds, then insert the key back into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position (do not start the engine).

The immobilizer system should now be reset. You may hear a second beep to confirm the reset.

Please let us know how it goes.
