Hello,

Is the security light flashing when you try to start it? If so the security system is engaged and wont let the car start. There is not a way to bypass the system because it is integrated into the computer of the car. I would check the 40 amp ignition switch fuse under the hood. Here is thes tarter wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check out the images (Below). Please let us know what happens.

The security light isn’t flashing it tries to start but almost acts like it’s out of time but it not to get it to do this you have to hold the throttle down about half way

If it had a breathalyzer interlock it may have programming in it to detect when/if it has been tampered with. Depends on who installed it and how. Maybe find out who installed it and have them pull the records, usually they also remove them.

Yes, but the place that installed it may be able to tell you if they added anything that would cause problems if it was removed "without permission". Most of those are installed by court order and removed the same way once the term is up. If it wasn't removed correctly or there was something added to make it so the engine wouldn't run if it was removed they may be able to tell you.
I know that the ones I have seen have items that are installed that get a signal from the unit, no signal the engine doesn't run.

That stinks. About the only thing would be to swap the ECM. It ran fine before the interlock was removed correct? Then wouldn't start after? How were the connections made? Wondering if maybe one wire had a scotchlock or similar that broke the wire inside the insulation and looks OK but isn't.
