Running the car listed above Ls, 305, Elderblock 1406 carburetor. I’m having idle issues and im pretty sure it’s my IAC valve but I can’t locate it. Any help?

When driving car rpm is 3,000 and shifting gears at 5,000 rpm's. No I’m not flooding the gas. Light acceleration and the rpm is climbing to 3,000 rpm's. When I let off the gas at a red light it goes down to 1,200 rpm's and fluctuates. Sometimes I have to hold the gas and brake to stop her from stalling out on me at the red light.

Hello, I'm Danny.

I've attached 2 pictures below of the IAC motor on the factory location. I do believe when you replaced throttle body and converted to the Edelbrock carburetor it is now controlled and located on the carburetor. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
