The check engine light is on and can't be reset with the negative battery terminal. Sometimes it will show no codes but if I continue to re-scan a bunch of times it will spit like 10 codes. I unplugged the oxygen sensor but that wasn't one of the codes. It runs great then for no reason it will have no power. Sometimes if I turn the car off it starts running great butt other not.
Sometimes it will just shut off while sitting at a stop light. But for the most part it runs great.

Disconnecting the battery will not reset many of the codes you may have. Also the codes may be in modules that many scan tools cannot read. Could you tell me which scan tool you have? Make and model please? What codes do come up? That would give a starting point.

Good afternoon,

Let us start with the codes that you found.

A code that will not reset indicates an electrical issue. You need to diagnose, perform repairs and then clear the code. Clearing codes does nothing.
