I lost first second and reverse gears

It was grinding and hard to shift. When shifting to first for about six months prior to losing the gears. Then about two weeks prior to it tearing up, First was fine, but it started grinding in second and then a loud pop. No first second or reverse. Still have third fourth and fifth. I am thinking maybe linkage?

The mileage is in excess of 100,000.

Sorry to say, but fault is internal probably started with first syncro. The loud pop maybe shift fork gear or rail. Will not know until it is torn down and inspected.
