2002 Hyundai XG350 Location of transmission filters

Transmission problem
2002 Hyundai XG350 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 99000 miles

Would you tell me the location of the transmission filters for my car? Carquest sold me a spin on external filter and Advanced sold me an internal filter but I cannot find the location of either one.
Thanks.

You will have an internal filter inside the transmission pan. You will have to remove the pan to see it. And, depending on model, you may also have an external transmission filter. Usually, if if you have an external factory transmission cooler, you may have the external filter. But you may want to check with your local dealer, just to make sure that you have the external filter or not.

All of the stuff you sent me I already know. I paid for a specific answer for the exact location of the filters on my car, not for some generalized answer about cars in general. If you do not know the answer refund my money.

Our tech provided you with the correct information. If you would have removed the transmission pan, you would see that the filter is quite obvious. The Automatic transmission filter is very easy to replace as shown in our step by step how to explanation.
