Hi there,
thanks for your time. My problem is this. Im in canada so its cold right now, when I start my car in the morning, it slowly heats up to normal temp, as soon as I start to drive, it falls below C, I have checked my antifreeze(good)i have checked my thermostat(according to your instructions it was good but I replaced anyway, thx). Problem still exists, I checked the antifreeze after driving for awhile and it is cool, engine is hot, and when the guage reads cold, there is no heat in the car, but when idoling and the temp guage rises, there IS heat, the car itself is running fine(for now) and my check engine light has now come on.

Actually, I question if you have a bad thermostat again. That is the part that causes the engine to warm up. When the coolant cools, the t-stat should start closing to restrict the amoung of coolant circulating. Thus, the engine should heat up. When it gets hot, it should open. Is it doing the exact same thing as the original thermostat?
