A very cold yesterday my cousin agreed to put new front rotors and brakes on my car like he has done to many cars before. Took all apart and the rotor won't come off. We penatrating sprayed and tried again and again to get off and still can't. We hit it with the largest hammer we could find. It also looks like the other side is the same way. Suggestions?

Make sure there are no screws holding the rotor on to the bearing some cars have 2 screws that are holding it on so check that and if none are found then try a butain torch and heat it to break loose the rust and try again

Yes, The two screws were off. We tried using a torch-it was a very cold day and we were outside. No way to use a mechanical puller in some fashion or is heating and banging our only choice. I don't wish to get near the sealed bearing with the heat. Both my cousin and I have never seen a rusted rotor that won't come off. Your final conclusion same as previous? Thanks much. Kevin

You can get close to the center of the rotor but all you can do is heat it and hit it in front and then in back to work the rust loose so you can get it off and when you put back together clean as much rust as you can off and use anti sieze on bearing were rotor rests so you don't have that probblem again also on screws that hold rotor on
