Hi there,

Check that the brake light switch at the top of the brake pedal is not stuck in the on position.

Hey, How r u? I have a hyundai sonata 2000 and I had the same Problem. My suggestion is for u to go to your brake pedal and push it back when u do so u will c a lilltle hole on your break pedal chances r the lilttle rubber broke. Its a hard rubber piece to find only junkyards carry it and chances r u have to buy the hole pedal. What I did was brought some eletricail tape and tape around the pedal where the hole was just so when I let go the brakes the sensor will touch the tape and it should shut off the lights thats how my car been for the last couple months.
