Hello,
It sounds like you have a shorted-out brake light switch. It is possibly stuck at the on position.
The brake light switch is located behind the brake pedal lever. When the brake pedal gets depressed, it pushes against the switch to turn on the lights.
Over time the switch can be ware off and short or not connect at all.
